My 2021 to-be-read list

In this first week of January, I have already said many times that I want to read 100 books this year (here, I've said it again). Even though I don't want to pre-plan all of the books I'll be reading this year, I did make a list with some books I definitely want to read this year. Most of these books are fantasy, as we all know that fantasy is the genre I read in most (and am obsessed with not gonna lie). However, I do want to expand the number of genres I read in. I talked about this before too, but one of the best things of reading is that you're able to step into someone's shoes for a while. It doesn't matter what genre you're reading, you are able to see and experience a life or adventure from someone else (even if it's fiction and made up). Besides, you are also able to read their thoughts and worldview, from which you, as a reader, can learn. That is why I hope to read more diverse books this year. So that I can (subconsciously?) learn about different people and characters while enjoying good books.

Fantasy

I wanted to start with probably the longest list of this post, and also with the most books that I am looking forward too. I wanted to point out that books with an * will be published this year, this goes for all the lists.

As you can see, my tbr is already filled with a lot of books. I am sure that during the year this list will change and grow.
