The worst advice about books you could ever give

The day was the 14th of January, and I was procrastinating to write my essay on Irish literature by browsing the internet. Something that fellow students might recognise. I came across a blog post that suggested the idea to use a topic generator for blog content. I had never heard of such a thing before, so my curiosity took over and I Googled: 'blog post topic generator'. After a few failed tries because I added words like books, reading, writing to make it fit my blog. The generator suggested this:

"The Worst Advice About Books You Could Ever Give"

At first, I laughed my ass off. Then, I wanted to write this post. So, here I am, writing this post for you. Let's talk about the worst advice about books you could ever give. Please share your own suggestions in the comments down below!
Note: all these suggestions are written as a joke, please do not take this seriously, it was just a way to procrastinate for me (not gonna lie).

Read your books upside down, this way you have more blood flow in your brains
Somehow, this was the first thing that came to mind. Personally, I always read my books when sitting upside down on the couch. It's very relaxing for me. I advise you to try this one out, we might start a new challenge!

When you want to read a series, start with the last book. This way you won't have to worry about how it ends
By the way, this leads me to the fact that you should read your books from the last to the first page too. I hate being worried about the character's fate, so now you won't have to worry about that!

Never start reading a book when you don't know what will happen. Better first read some spoilers (just in case!!)
I mean, it is scary to start a random book. You never know what will happen.

Prioritise books above everything else
I mean, staying alive is fun and all. But the only thing you should be focusing on is books. Read them or buy them, but do nothing else. Social life, studies, work? Not important.

Read like 21 books at once
I like to read one sentence and then switch to another book, read one sentence again and switch. Especially fun when reading upside down! Grabbing a book is a challenge in itself then!

Even it's the most horrible book you've ever read, finish it!!
You cannot NOT finish a book. Once you've started. You MUST finish!

You should read at least read 500 books a year, and buy like 1000
You can never have or read too many books.

I think that this was it for my advice. I hope you enjoyed reading this fun post! It actually was a challenge to write! As I said, this is all a joke! Share your suggestions down below, I would love to read them. I will see you tomorrow because I have fun plans for February which I will announce!

With love,

Julia
